Overview
About Me
I just want to get out and live life; ya know, eat good food and drink good wine, meet cool people, listen to awesome music, make mistakes, contribute a bit to humanity's legacy by writing a book or making a scientific discovery (physics student) and a big part of that is sticking myself in ridiculous situations on the other side of the world.
PREVIOUSLY: Cycled ~4300km from London to Ankara Hitchhiked 1400km in Switzerland, France, Spain, Turkey, Israel and Australia
PLANNING ON: Cycle across Australia, Africa, the Americas etc etc Climb Kilimanjaro and eventually the Seven Summits
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet chill people, have a bit of a laugh halfway around the world, and really get to know where I am instead of just taking the billionth photo of the Eiffel Tower (well maybe some photos would be nice as well)

Music, Movies, and Books
Love a bit of everything - the classics like the Beatles, Bon Jovi, Queen and Pink Floyd, also modern rock like the Killers, Good Charlotte, indie bands like the Wombats and the Jungle Giants, and even rap like Macklemore and Eminem. Any Tarantino movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty/travel movies (need recommendations), LOTR, brilliant comedies like Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, James Bond - I could go on Love some crime/mystery novels, also SciFi and fantasy if I have time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Launched a satellite into low earth orbit (physics isn't as boring as people think)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you very unusual skills like unicycling, and if you have a didgeridoo lying around I can show you a bit. I'd love to learn a new language or three, being so isolated in Australia there isn't much chance to practice, and of course I keep changing my mind on which one I want to learn - I reckon Greenlandic sounds pretty interesting at the moment
What I Can Share with Hosts
Boardgames, banter and stories from the road, also I can cook a bit
