CURRENT MISSION I want to ride a motorcycle around the world ABOUT ME I'm a motoring journalist and its the kind of job that lets me drive and ride cars and motorcycles and write about them. I've been to many countries (mostly in Europe, one in Africa and one in North America) but because they were business trips, I hardly got to stay back and get a feel of the place. So, I'm a traveller who's has many frequent flyer miles and no real experiences. Except maybe that one at the Arctic circle :) My favourite place in India are the Himalayas and the Andaman islands -- I've been to both many times and fall in love with them all over again. I believe in overlanding it -- cars, bikes trains -- and I find airline travel mind-warpingly boring. I love meeting new people. I hope to travel the world someday on my time. Till then I'll happily listen and learn from others. I live alone. I like dogs but dont keep one (its cruel to keep one cooped up in an apartment). I own a Royal Enfield (that works most of the time) and have access to a BMW F650 (it's stoking my planet on two wheels flame) . PHILOSOPHY Want it bad enough? The universe will conspire to get you to do it.
