About Me

I love living life, exploring the world, going on adventures, and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’m easy-going, respectful of people’s space, things, and beliefs, I’m down to experience everything a place has to offer, I love trying different foods and flavors, and I love to hear stories of other people’s adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I'm just too shy to walk up to people and start chatting. What better way to meet fellow surfers than to share a space and a story or two over a beer or glass of wine... Even a hot cup of coffee will do.

Interests

I'm interested in many things. I love fast cars, I love to know how things work, I enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling. I enjoy cooking out and having a nice cold beer at the end of a hike. I also like to write about stuff and take pictures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember my first time I traveled to New York, I traveled by Greyhound and oh my god, what a mess that was. It was stop and go for 36 hours. I enjoyed that city quite a bit and took nearly 300 pictures with a real camera.

But what was more amazing was the time a friend and I went to the Grand Canyon. It is by far one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. There was lots of hiking going on and the craziest part is where I was looking into the camera that I had on the tripod and holding it in front of me not really looking where I was going, then I slipped… I was inches from a 20 foot edge. It was the craziest adrenaline rush.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know quite a bit about payroll, although not fundamentally interesting, it's a fact of life most everyone around the world is aware of, we all have to get paid for work - if you have payroll questions, I'm open... I'd like to learn about history of other cultures, not just by reading about them but by seeing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A cup of cheer.
