Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I much rather meet and get to know real local people when I travel rather than just hotel receptionists. We live in a globalised age where one can travel to the other side of the world and feel like you haven't really left home. I like local experiences, hearing stories and getting a flavour for what it's actually like to live in a particular place. Couchsurfing is a great way to do this and so far I've had some great experiences.

Kissed the king of Algeria. Traveled across the UK with no money. Cut off a TV presenter live on air. Made Peter Gabriel a cup of tea.
