ABOUT ME

I am considerable, quiet person. Don't smoke nor drink alcohol. Try keep my body fit, sometimes do a long walk in the forest, jogging part of the distance. We live together with my wife Luba. We are both 55 yo. Our two adult children live with their families separately. I can play guitar, in my youth I used to take a part in local rock-band. I like to improve my yard and plant vegetables in the garden. At summer time we enjoy driving to the nearest lake to swim. I love to meet new people and talk. Being Russia closed for many years my interest is towards the foreign countries. We live in a small town, 400 km southward of Moscow. The population is 9000 people. Very slow pace of life here. One can call this place as heart of Russia. Moscow and other big cities aren't at all.

PHILOSOPHY

All of us are piligrimes in this world on our way to internal distination. The Bible is the guide there.

Interests

I am interested to visit foreign countries, as we russians haven't got any access there in the past. I'd like to talk a lot to find out how people live, their habits and tradition and culture, religeon. The official tour doesn't give such a insight as when you travel by yourself, meet the ordinary people and see the country from inside. Also it's important to improve my verbal English talking with English-speaking people.

I like rock music of the 70-s, Beatles are my favorites. Previously read a lot but now have not good vision, so read rare.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As Soviet Union was the godless country, the shocking moment I ever experienced was reading the Bible for the first time in 1992 and listening the Christian preachers. I have perceived that we are created by God, and that monkey isn't our ancestor at all!
