Hola! We are Pablo and Katie and we recently rode our bicycles across the entire country of Mexico as well as the US, a total of 6,250 miles. We are very relaxed people who enjoy all things outdoors, telling jokes and riding our bikes! We are extremely clean and organized. Cooking for people is one of our favorite things to do as well as making people laugh! We are coffee and mate drinkers and also love red wine. We try not to take life too seriously and just live in the present. Meditation is very important to us. Pablo is passionate about filming and is currently documenting our travels. He was born in Arizona, USA, but grew up in Argentina. Katie was born and raised in Alabama. We met in Portland, Oregon and shared our love for traveling by bicycle. We did a tour from the city of Portland to the coast of Oregon and rode our bikes everyday for transportation while living in the states. We look forward to meeting new people during our travels as well as learning new things about ourselves and each other.

Hello! Somos Pablo y Katie, y recientemente viajamos en bicicleta por Estados Unidos, desde San Diego hasta Rhode Island luego de cruzar todo México en 2019, unos 10.000 kilómetros en total. Somos muy tranquilos y disfrutamos de los viajes, trekking, nadar y divertirnos andando en bici! Somos muy limpios y organizados. Cocinar y divertirnos con amigos es lo que más nos gusta hacer. La comida siempre junta a las personas! Nos encanta el café, mate y un buen vino tinto también. Tratamos de disfrutar el presente el máximo. Ambos somos meditadores, esta es una actividad muy importante para nosotros. Pablo es realizador de cine y actualmente está documentando este viaje. Nació en Arizona, USA pero se crió en Argentina.
Katie nació y se crió en Alabama, USA. Nos conocimos en Portland, Oregon, USA y compartimos nuestro amor por la bicicleta. Hicimos algunos viajes por Oregon y luego decidimos sumarnos a dos buenos amigos para cruzar México desde Tulum hasta California.
Queremos conocer nuevos amigos y aprender más sobre el uno y el otro en esta hermosa aventura.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are Couchsurfing to have a more local experience. Staying in the home of a local will teach us more about the culture and the area that we are staying in. We love to travel not only to see beautiful places, but to get insight on what life is like in each place that we visit. Meeting new people from all over the world is very important to us!

Estamos en Couchsurfing para vivir una experiencia de viaje junto a gente del lugar. Esto nos permite aprender sobre la cultura local y específicamente sobre el área en la que nos encontramos. Nos encanta viajar no solo por los bellos paisajes, sino para observar los modos de vida, hábitos y costumbres de cada sitio. ¡Conocer gente de todos lados es muy importante para nosotros!

We love telling jokes and sharing laughs with people. Traveling by bike is our number 1 interest and passion. We are always open to trying to things. We love hiking and being outdoors all day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Katie bought a one way ticket to Thailand and immersed herself in a culture she knew nothing about. She also lived and traveled around Australia for a year.
Pablo traveled Patagonia solo for eight months and ended it with a ten day silent meditation.

Katie compró un pasaje sin retorno a Tailandia y vivió una inmersión total en una cultura que desconocía por completo. También vivió y trabajó en Australia por un año.
Pablo viajó solo por unos ocho meses en la patagonia, y terminó el viaje con un curso de meditación de diez días en completo silencio.
