About Me

CURRENT MISSION

wherever I am, be all here.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a Family Medicine resident in Denver, which I love! Throughout the last 10 years of becoming a doctor, I have loved learning and getting to make a difference in people's lives. I must say, though, there is a gypsy in my soul, and I have days where I want to leave everything and just go wandering~hence my current mission. :) I like couch surfing, because it keeps me connected to a community of like-minded people.
More about me: I enjoy creating things, and I love hanging out with people. Because I grew up in Papua New Guinea, I'm kind of a global nomad and I don't know really know where "home" is. I backpacked for two years across the globe, which was one amazing education and it was my inspiration to go into medicine. Now I'm nearing the end of the formal education part of my journey and I am excited to see what awaits me!

One of my favorite things is to arrive in a new town where I know nothing, talk to the locals (it's even more fun when we don't really speak the same language), explore, find a cheap place to stay, and get some yummy street food. :) There is nothing like being immersed in a new environment and letting people surround you and help you out and teach you how things are done best. Yeah you make yourself vulnerable, but aren't we all, anyway?
