About Me

CURRENT MISSION
We live in Kirchheim in a flat with our little family, so I would love to get to know you before hosting. Therefore enough information in your profile will help me to read about yourself.

My mission here on CS is to make CS life easier as long as you have the right motives and help other fellow CSers.

Too many hosts these days on each location but its also too difficult to find a host to accommodate you. How to filter to find someone who can host you? If you send 20 requests and all denied how much time you have when travelling to read each profiles as the response rate is very low..... if you have a flexible schedule and need immediate response can you use CSing? Do people get tired of CSing after sometime? Can we help other travellers and get helped too without too many RULES imposed? You have to put your self in a travellers shoes and think about it.....

Make friends around the globe!!! Thats the CS spirit

ABOUT ME

After school before studying and becoming an engineer I travelled 6 months in australia. There found my love... Travelling independently on budget. The more I travel and the more people I meet, I realize that I'd better live life to the fullest. Life goes on so don't look back. Learning to let go of something is important, because it is who you are today, not who you were yesterday, defines who you will be tomorrow. I married my beautiful wife in 2018. Now we share the love for travel together.

I love good company, good chats, make new friendships and good food. My greatest hobby is travelling: I love other cultures, other languages, other food, open minded people..

PHILOSOPHY
- never prejudice, try it out yourself. Try as much as you can.
- there is no bad music or bad food. There are only some bad musicians / cooks!
- take nothing but memories. Leave nothing but footprints. Lill nothing but time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being nice to person being nice. I host whenever possible..I can give tipps for destinations, can share contacts, general travel or backpacking hacks...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well all my experiences to host or to couchsurfing have been really great so far. Sometimes that where the highlights of a trip. Best experience so far: Got invited from locals to stay on their houseboat on the lake Tonle Sap, Cambodia. Noone spoke a single word english, free food, karaoke, loads of people, heaps of food and drinks. Sleep with the whole family - eight or so - on the wooden planks of their only 'room'. This is what it is all about! =)

Interests

- travelling on budget
- pretty much everything but I tend to talk a lot about travelling :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my school time I took place in two student exchange programms. So I went to Malaga, Spain and to Tel Aviv, Israel and vice versa. At university I took the optional course 'International business development' and went on a trip to India. Beside seeing nearly all of Europe with my parents, I spend around 5 months in Australia (2010). Around the same time I studied in Shanghai, China (2012/2013).

I love being on a trip so I keep going again...
