CURRENT MISSION To make the most of the time I have on this crazy and amazing planet; to enjoy and take advantage of every opportunity I am blessed with; to meet Mother Nature on every frontier; to be a professional globetrotter; to live a life worth living. ABOUT ME Where to start? We are currently living in Barranquilla, Colombia where Paige is teaching English to undergraduate students at la Universidad del Norte & Ele continues to job hunt. We both love to travel and meet new people.... Paige: I would like to characterize myself as pretty outgoing, open-minded, tolerant, endearing, and sometimes random gal. I have strong southern roots, but feel like my inner spirit is more liberal than what is normally accepted in the Heart of Dixie. Most of my friends call me a nerd; I love to learn--what can I say? I like to read for pleasure, when I am not reading for school. I love Gabriel Garcia Marquez, anything related to history, Salman Rushdie, and lots of other international authors. I also like foreign films, Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order:SVU, The L Word, and Modern Family. One of my passions is traveling and experiencing new places. Once I had travelled outside of the U.S. I knew my life would never be the same. I haven't stopped traveling yet--I am officially infected with the travel bug. I also love new foods, but have a list of foods I don't like or that don't seem to like me. I love adventures, random conversations, days at the beach, and family time. I also love music; all kinds. Eleonora: I like to talk to and meet new people and I LOVE to travel. I am originally from Colombia, but have lived in the US (with Paige) and outside of Colombia for almost 4 years. I also really like Colombian soap operas :) and I love music and dancing. I am a pretty good dancer, if I don't say so myself. I also like photography, but am by no means a professional. A true passion of mine is cooking and one day I'd like to take a professional course. However, for now, I'll have to make use of my degree in Business Administration! Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Right now we are only surfers, but hope to start hosting soon! We're still getting settled into the new place.... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We have not couch surfed, yet, but are looking forward to many wonderful experiences! I have friends who have done it and have highly recommended it! We think CS is a wonderful way to meet new people across the globe and perhaps kindle unique and amazing friendships you wouldn't have otherwise found.

(PAIGE) Movies: Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Love Actually, Star Wars, Rocky Series, RENT, el Orfanato. Music: Colbie Callait, MIchael Buble, Fanny Lu, Juanes, Jorge Celedon, Taylor Swift, Sean Kingston, Sean Paul, Rhianna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Shania Twain, Alicia Keys Books: Haroun and the Sea of Stories, 100 Years of Solitude, The Alchemist, Life of Pi, Siddhartha, The Gods Will Have Blood, The Giving Tree. (ELE) Movies: el Orfanato and Love Actually. I like romantic comedies, too! Music: I am very much Colombian in my musical tastes, but also like American country, techno, and any dance music. Some of my favorite artists are Juanes, Shakira, Donato y Estefan, Fonseca, and Carlos Vives. Books: I must admit I am not an avid reader like Paige, but do read occasionally. Right now I am reading Eat Pray Love. Great book so far.

Paige: I love travel writing and magazines. I really like Colombian food. I am an avid and passionate animal lover; I have had every kind of animal you can imagine.
