ABOUT ME

My husband and I love to travel, meet new people and learn about different views and cultures. We have three children, currently 8, 6 and 4 and take them on adventures and travels as well. We love seeing new things, being outside and hiking, kayaking, camping... most things active. I look forward to meeting some of you and having a great time getting to know you and exploring new areas.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you'd want to be treated. I love getting to know people and sharing ideas and interests. Living simply, taking care of the environment and understanding others are things that bring me joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people and travel off the beaten path. I love the genuine community on CS. I've met some amazing people who have inspired me on here. I welcome the opportunity to get to know people and welcome them to my home. The vulnerability that comes with inviting someone into your home, or visiting someone else's home gives me a hopeful feeling about the world. There are so many good people to meet and understand.

I love nature and down to earth activities. I think some of the best things in life are free. Enjoying conversation, spending time exploring outside, walking around a new area, watching my kids play and enjoy life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most any music.
I love books! Generally non fiction where I can learn something, or start to understand a new point of view. I read a lot from the self help/personal growth section.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled on a world trip -16 countries with my (now) husband. Having our three children has been my favorite adventure of life so far!
