I'm a student and an avid rock climber. I love travelling and experiencing different cultures and traditions. If given an opportunity, I would rather get to know a city really well than travel briefly to many cities. I love meeting people although I might appear to be shy at first. But don't worry cause I loveeee making friends and I would love to get to know you if you're coming to Singapore.

I'm currently studying in Monterrey, Mexico until May 2015. But do let me know if you want to visit Singapore from June 2015 onwards! I wont be able to host people as of yet, but I will love to bring you around! Hope to hear from you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first tried couchsurfing in Mexico City, in December 2014. So you can say that I am really really new to this community. However, I fell in loveeeeee couchsurfing because it brings a very real side of the city to people. In the past, travelling with travel agencies or on free-and-easy tours have always led me to tourist attractions with overpriced tickets and food, and little or non of the local authentic flavour of the country. Through couchsurfing, I feel that I learn so much more about the culture and the people. And best of all, it has brought me friends that I know I would keep for a lifetime.

Most memorable couchsurfing experience was in Zacatecas, Mexico City when I lived with an extremely cheerful guy and his mother. Although it was a short 3-nights stay, I teared when I was leaving because I knew I would miss them and their lovely city so much. I'm inspired by my hosts and I would love to do the same for other people when I go back to Singapore. This is why I'm now on couchsurfing, I want to show you the best of my country, and get to know yours too!
