Hello and ayubowan! I am a Sri Lankan living in Berlin. I am currently studying for my master's degree in Finance.

Why Germany? Well, I've got a bit of a travel bug, and there's no better place to explore new cultures than here :)

I also love to hike (I did a four-day hike in Nepal in November 2023, the Poonhill trek), and cannot wait to go back to Nepal to hike ABC (Anapurna Base Camp) and Mardi Himal to see those stunning Himalayan views.

When I'm not crunching numbers or plotting my next adventure, you'll find me nose-deep in philosophy books or getting creative in the kitchen. Amateur chef alert :) I love whipping up dishes from all over the globe.

I'm also a bit of a dance enthusiast. Latin American and ballroom dancing are my jam, especially when the Berlin summer hits. Can't wait to hit the streets with fellow dance lovers :)

I love deep, soul-searching conversations, and if you're someone who appreciates them as much as I do, I believe we're in for some truly interesting chats :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in Sri Lanka, I used to host people from all over the world at my place. There's just something special about meeting people who vibe on the same wavelength. We'd chat over coffee, dance a little, watch movies together, and make sure they had the time of their lives in Colombo.

Now that I'm here in Berlin, I'm itching to get my place again after my studies so I can start hosting once more. Can't wait for that day to come! :)
