About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Learning from others about different cultures

Note: Couchsurfing is NOT a dating app. I am here to meet new people and learn from different cultures.
Also, if you want to offer me an host, do not ask me to get naked. You can be a naturist, no problem at all, but do not ask your guests to do so in exchange of the hospitality.
Doesn't sound right and doesn't align with CS spirit.

ABOUT ME
I played rugby for many years and now enjoying coaching. When not coaching, I lecture Business (we need to pay the bills).
The passion for travelling, discovering new places and cultures brought me here.

CS allows me to make friends along the way. That's the cool part of the community.
My aim to expand my network although the pandemic and my busy schedule slowed down my plan.

I like cooking, I can make pizza from the scratch (ask Benjamin from Oslo for feedbacks 😁).
I love try local food while travelling, and I eat everything.

Sharing experiences is cool, gives you different points of view. , as well as, listening from who's wiser than you.

I found this community thanks to friends. I met many times surfers at their place, then I started to host and surf too.

I've been living in London since 2016 and I built an extensive knowledge about the city. I'm the perfect "Tour Guy" as my friend Mark would say.

To make sure you have read my profile, start your message with "Ciao Amico", avoiding template messages.

Meeting you soon ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first Cs experience was about to be a nightmare. The guy who offered me an host, declined the request while I was on his way. Luckily, Jose promptly helped me sharing is room in the Trinity College student's accommodations in Dublin.
Then, I started meeting others Cs during my trips or in London.

When free, I like showing around and spending time with my guests, regardless I'm in London or back home.
I enjoy the Cs spirit, learning and sharing with other cultures, expand my network of friends from all around the world, as well as discovering new places.

Interests

Rugby is my love. I don't play anymore, but I like to be fit with sport in general.
I first started with cultural exchanges, then I found Couchsurfing and now I'm living in one of the most multicultural city in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching TV series or movies. Give me a couch or a bed and I'll fall asleep before its end 😅.
Reading opens my mind. I like different kinds of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the Brecon Beacons waterfalls (Wales) in a rainy Easter Monday day with Saqib and his friends. I returned to London wet and cold, but it was worth my while.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can understand I'm Italian from my strong accent. I cannot get rid of it and I don't want to. It's part of myself and my origins.
Actually many people love it 😁. Besides, I know the Italian signs language (learnt from my parents).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My small single room that I'm happy to share with a single cs at the time.
