We (Pat and Kate) live in Southwestern Ontario on 200 acres of land, with 36 milking cows. We took over the family dairy farm and have farmed it for an additional 25 years.

We enjoy having couch surfers stay with us, however, at present, we are in the midst of renovations and a barn build. Hence, we still have space (it consists of floor space in an open loft on the upper level of the house - bring air mattresses and sleeping bags), but we will not be able to take time to show you why we love this area of Ontario.
If you are looking for in-door floor space, and you have your own agenda, you are welcome to request accommodation.
Probably the other thing you need to know is ... we are a busy household, in that it is not unusual to have family on extended visits, arrive with short notice. The shared space in this house has different dynamics at any given time.

The farmhouse has space, available floor space in the upper story loft. (Bedrooms are unavailable during renovations.) Couchsurfing just seems like a practical solution for travellers.
