ABOUT ME

Hi, we are Patrick, Sonja, Jasper & Pepe from Hamburg, Germany! We love to travel and to discover new cultures! Getting to know new people from all over the world is always so refreshing!
We want to show our two boys the world through the eyes we had discovered it!

PHILOSOPHY

We feel responsible for this wonderful world we are living in so we always try to “break new ground” and find new ways of how to give “Mother Earth” something back!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've couchsurfed a lot and we love it! We know how much organisation and effort it takes to host & that it also costs money (toiletries, water, etc.). That's why we always try to return the favour by washing the dishes, cooking, painting, cleaning... whatever! :)

So, for us it goes without saying to be clean, save energy when can, be silent at night and leave the house when the host does. We don't smoke and always adapt to the host's house rules. If our host is busy with work, we find our way around town ourselves.

And we expect the same from CSers who stay at our place! Everyone we met was so nice and caring! And what we like most: everybody has its own background and shared their interesting experiences with us! It’s such a joy to be part of this network of “give and take”!

Interests

We love traveling and we want to show our two kids this world with all its wonderful people and amazing places!

We prefer to be outside - preferably in the sun! Everything that has to do with water is part of our interest: swimming, sailing, surfing and listening to the sound of the ocean! Street-art, photography and live music attracts us the same way like good food does! :)
We are up for every new adventure and love to experience new things!
And anybody who says that parents with two kids cannot do that, we'll proove it to! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

+ Having two healthy, curious boys
+ Tour through the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia)
+ Volcano boarding in Léon (Nicaragua)
+ Sailing from Jamaica to Cuba
+ Watching the surfers at the North Shore (Hawai'i) ripping the massive waves
+ Learning to play the Ukulele (tought by CSers from Hawai'i)
+ Skydiving in Queenstown (New Zealand)
