I'm a 59 year old from the mountains of Aspen, Colorado, USA. I have worked in the ski business for decades, mostly as a ski racing coach, as well as a race official and Ski Pro.

My hobbies include guitar, kitesurfing, backpacking and bike touring. I have ridden all through the USA, plus a trip from Alaska to Argentina. In 2023 I explored northern Africa on my bike. I am now thinking about riding the rest of Africa and Europe so I can complete a trip around the world.

I am very easy going. I don't require fancy hotels or expensive restaurants. I'd rather be out in nature or spending time with locals.
