I am a student at Indiana University studying Sociology and African American Studies. I love to enjoy the wilderness, whether it be through relaxation or thrill seeking! I love meeting new people and having serious or silly conversations.

I am here because I have a desire to travel but my wallet does not. I also believe in the good of people and having an extended sense of community. I want to travel but I want to meet new people, experience new things, enjoy new cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most kinds of music but I love hip hop and folk. I watch lots of movies and documentaries (I have a VHS collection of nearly 300 movies). Good Will Hunting is my #1 movie choice. I read mostly nonfiction (historical, social, political) other than Kurt Vonnegut. I love his writing and we share a hometown!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately I do not have a couch that I can offer. However, what I can offer is your own personal guide to Bloomington camping. If I am available I would love to take you camping. I have gear that I can share and also have access to gear rentals if you have a desire to do anything more adventurous (mountain biking, kayaking, slacklining). I am also more than happy to show you around campus!
