About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to break away from the traditional norm I've grown use to here in the Gulf Coast. I want to explore the USA, meet new and interesting people, all while having an adventure.

ABOUT ME

"If you see someone without a smile, lend em' yours."

Patrick: Reserved, outgoing, tidy, adventurous neo-hippy. I love to meet new people, especially from different cultural zones. Always give respect friends and strangers alike. I feel like visiting exciting places and meeting new and interesting people is one of the best ways to experience life.

Wife Adeline: Cute, shy, sweetheart. Perfect mix of nerdy and adventurous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to participate by spreading stories and good will to people I'm lucky enough to meet. Want to start attending more events and get-togethers. I like to treat my hosts to little surprises; like bringing them groceries, wine, or cool stuff from my travels. I'm a pretty decent cook and love to prepare meals for my friends.

Will likely tidy up the living room and start hosting in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a few AWESOME people during my Mississippi to California road trip in 2013. Everyone I met was generous, kind, and had plenty of stories. Very fortunate to meet them and proud to call them friends now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I LOOOVE music. Its a universal art form that all languages and cultures can jam too. My favorite genre is psychedelic jam-bands. I play guitar, bass, and anything else I get my hands on.

Movies: Comedies are my favorite. With serious movies I like interesting plots and good characters.
Examples: This is the End, Anchorman, District 9, Blade Runner, Pineapple Express.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on the receiving end of some amazing volunteers from all over America after hurricane Katrina. Seeing complete strangers arrive to your level town and lend a helping hand in a time of need was one of the greatest experiences to ever witness.

I spent a week in Newfoundland, CA. One of the most beautiful places on earth.

Concert at Red Rocks was stunning.

Swam in the Great Salt Lake in Utah, in October. It was a numbing experience haha.

Completed a 37 day solo road trip from MS to CA.

Served 10 months in a Americorps volunteer program, worked with multiple non-profits and did over 2000 volunteer hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

You'll always make mistakes. Its learning from them and helping others avoid these mistakes that gives everyone a chance to improve themselves.
