Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people with interesting stories. It is a wonderful thing. Travelling is such an enriching experience and to be able to share a bit of the wonderful community of Annapolis Royal with guests would be great. I am also interested in being a couch surfer in the future. I want to do a "slow travel" thing and enjoy the places and the people I am visiting.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a man of the 80s where music is concerned: Billy Bragg, Blondie, The Cult, Thomas Dolby, Kate Bush, Joy Division, Bauhaus, and more. Although lately I am big into Heilung, Wardruna, Mestiza, and other rabbit holes. My favourite movies: Dune (any version), l'Homme qui plantait des arbres, Andreï Roublev., Brazil, Strings. Favourite authors: Frank Herbert, Jean Giono, Tolkien, LeGuin, PK Dick, CS Lewis
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've watched bioluminescent fungi glow in a log in the forest in the middle of the night.
