I live in Beautiful northern Michigan with my wife Lydia. I have 2 daughters, ages 27 and 30.I have been involved for many years with the organic and local food movement. I served on the board of the first CSA farm in Michigan, and on the board of the largest natural food co-op (Oryana) in the midwest. I grow microgreens and wheatgrass, and make raw dehydrated health bars, which I sell at farmers' markets. I am very interested in nutritional wellness, and have visited some of the top nutritional wellness centers, including Hippocrates Health Institute, the Ann Wigmore Institute, and Creative Health Institute. I am interested in renewable energy, sustainable development, energy efficient construction, intentional communities, indoor organic growing, healthy raw food preparation, dehydrating, fermenting, and smoothie making. I have extensive remodeling experience, and am happy to give advice on any type of construction or remodel.

My college roomate and I collected over 5,000 signature to put the Michigan bottle return initiative "Bottle Bill" on the ballot, which has kept thousands of tons of discarded bottles and cans out of our roadways, lakes, rivers and streams!!!
