About Me

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ASKING FOR A REQUEST: I'm travelling Europe between 1st of May lasting until late June.

Like many people, I subscribed to a life that revolved around work. In the past two years significant life events happened that pushed me away from my workaholic norm, and made me realise that I ought to live life more vibrantly. That is why I left my desk job, took my backpack and went to travel Europe. The purpose is to find my true meaning, discover what really makes me happy and just live the moment.

Objectives:
• Portray the most beautiful and exciting places from my Eurotrip.
• Write about my adventures on my blog.
• Commit to a more meaningful life filled with local and global adventures.
• Experience countless adventures with old and new friends.
• Live life to the fullest.

Philosophy:
"Trust that everything happens for a reason, even when you're not wise enough to see it."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Culture exchange, cool people, inspiration, cheap travel. Meeting new people all the time.

I believe that the people you meet along the way are the true benefit of traveling and what actually stays in your memory and in your heart. After all, I myself want to be remembered for the things I've done, not the money I made. I'm simply here seeking great experiences with friendly people from around the world.

A friend told me about CS and I decided to check it out. I was delighted to find a community of some of the most generous people willing to spare a place to stay. The best thing, however, is the opportunity to make new potential acquaintances and possibly friends. Social interaction is what helps me to thrive.

• Spent €5 for a 3 nights stay in one of the coolest hostel in Budapest.
• Shared a meal with a Soviet veteran in Sofia.
• Lived for almost 2 weeks in a creepy neighbourhood in Moscow without getting mugged.
• Transcended into another dimension when tasting Rome gelato.
• Participated to Mass in a Catholic basilica in Milan and felt being a part of a greater plan.
• Saw a live avalanche in Salzburg - nobody got hurt in the process.
• Paid £10 for a homebrew pint of ale in London - it hurt my pocket.
• Had my deepest moment of silence when visited Berlin's Memorial to the Murdered Jews.
• Sagrada Familia felt like a stairway to Heaven - Gaudi was alien for sure.
• Managed to survive for 80 days in Europe with just a budget of €750, which went on transportation, accommodation, food and leisure.
