I've lived and worked in three countries - Australia (where I grew up), Amsterdam in the Netherlands and now CT in the US. I travel as much as I can and enjoy immersing myself in local cultures. I hike nearly every weekend, study history, enjoy museums, the theater and most music, cooking for or with friends and sharing a nice bottle of wine as we solve the world's problems.

I like to travel solo and it's nice to meet up with interesting people who live in (or are also visiting) the places I travel to. I am more than happy to arrange my own accommodation and am not looking for a couch to crash on.
