About Me
Hi! I’m a Brazilian girl living in US for about 3 years now. Travel was one of my biggest passion and when the pandemic hit I felt I lost a very important part of me , especially about the social aspect, so I’m now coming back slowly to do what used to bring me so much happiness.
I’m a journalist so I love listen stories and exchange experiences. I believe every person has something important to share so I’m always very open to learn.
I’m a leftist and I believe in social justice for a better world. I was a volunteer in NGO in Brazil working with kids and later I became an au pair in US. Today I work as a nanny in NYC and I love it.
One of my other passions used to be Photography and I’m also coming back to it learning a little more everyday.
I love chat about a lot of things and I can go from politics and philosophy to movies and series and reality shows very quickly. Art and music is very important to me and I’m not talking about just paintings on museums but all kind of art that frowns at the street or on the internet.
I’m a pet person so every time I see a dog or a cat or any other pet I will stop to say “hi” and have a quick chat.
I like to travel to relax and know more about other cultures so I often take long vacation days in just one place. I like to meet locals, eat street food, walk without destination in downtown, stop in a random bar and let the waiter choose something for me. I like to enjoy things with no rush.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe we have a lot to share and i think this is one of the best way to know a new place, having a local person to give you a local perspective. I also did Couchsurfing before in Brazil and I meet some of my great friends of life and this is why I like it so much.
