About Me

Well, I'm quite bad for presenting myself - mostly in a foreign language, sorry for the mistakes but I feel English is the best language to meet other people around the world - but let's try !
I'm from Belgium - French-speaking but there is probably still some Dutch words somewhere deep in my brain, thanks school - and I'm veterinarian. After been working for 2 years in my country I wanted to have a new job experience and so I'm currently working in the UK since June 2016. When I don't work - it's quite a full-time job - I spend my holidays between travelling and popping back to my country to see family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing in Austria was one of my best experiences. I went with 2 other friends for a week in Tyrol, one of them created a Couchsurfing profile and we stayed 2 nights (well, 3 in fact but the third one was not planned, but that's another story) with 2 differents hosts. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to create my own profile. It's rewarding to meet new people and discover other cultures. I love the way of sharing a little piece of my life with people I don't still know.

Interests

Travelling, weither with my family, with friends or alone ; weither visiting historic places, discovering nice cities or walking in nature with only a backbag, but always with at least one book in my pocket.
Swimming, walking, running, skiing but I'm interested in lots of other sports as athletics or tennis.
Cooking and eating, I'm happy when I can discover new recipes and I willingly share mine.
Arts in general : watching movies, reading, drawing...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 11, I went to the USA with my family for a long trip - we have lots of cousins living over there. It was just amazing to go up into the highest building that I had never seen in my life, cross the country from the North to the South with a car and see these wonderful colours in National Parks, wake up in the morning with surfers and whales in the Pacific ocean, and mostly discover for the first time some people from your own family, living on the other side of the Hearth and that you had never met before ! I wish I'll see them again.
More personnally, I swam 5 km for a charitable organisation.
