ABOUT ME

I am an outdoor enthusiast and nature lover; love to exercise; ski, bike, hike, trail run, yoga, and surf on occasion... have a penchant for health and healing, metaphysics, higher consciousness/spirituality. its all interconnected. want to experience more personal growth. I know its a process and that helping others and following my bliss are the ways to get there. tell me what you need or what you like and I will try to help you if I can. just being honest helps me to be more open-minded , less judgmental, and able to "go with the flow"."let go and let God". for me its less personal and more universal. let's get off of the ego parabola and just let it be. easier said than done I know. if this sounds like someone trying to heal from the trauma of the old school I guess that's what it is. I'm consistently coming up with positive reasons for hope and optimism, and realizing the power of synchronicity. am steadily moving toward better health and more awareness. beyond that, just being who I am.

PHILOSOPHY

living a balanced life. get off of the ego parabola. honesty is the best policy. speak your truth. go with the flow. I try to stay focused in the present moment as much as possible. remember that we create our own reality. compassion for others is key. live and let live. love is important but so is the truth. where are you coming from in your heart? what is your favorite color?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

while I'm not new to the CS community, I have not done alot of traveling in the last few years and am changing that now...have hosted some and will do more. viva CS!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

years ago, mostly the traditional kind of couchsurfing...meeting up with friends as I was traveling or hitchhiking here and there. before the internet...now I have done the internet version and it is great! probably the best thing to come along since the internet.

Interests

health, outdoor exercise; just about anything that's positive, in moderation. don't care for negativity. reading and learning about nature, science, history, especially ancient history. what is the truth about our heritage and origins? coasttocoastam fan. metaphysics; alchemy, Taoism, Yoga, meditation. Chi Kung. pursuing higher consciousness in a variety of forms...finding solutions to age old problems of healthy and self-reliant living. had some martial arts training; it was very beneficial. am practicing yoga now. exploring freedom and everything that it means.

Music, Movies, and Books

well, I don't watch alot of movies, but I always liked the Star Wars series. Lord of the Rings (read the books). I like movies with alot of symbolism as well as having a great theme and drama and a developed story line. mostly old school...the Indiana Jones series was good, as were the Matrix movies. really like progressive documentaries. for comedies I liked the Monty Python movies; Holy Grail, Yellowbeard. Raising Arizona, Better Off Dead. Idiocracy. I like movies with historical themes and documentaries. As for newer movies, I liked Avatar. books on metaphysics and history. Zecharia Sitchin, Lloyd Pye, Gerald Clark.

I once saw orange lightning in a New Mexico high desert storm. I once had psychic surgery performed on me.

Teach, Learn, Share

well, most of what I know and can teach to others has to do with my study of metaphysics and history as it relates to the western hermetic science tradition. I am trying to formulate a "story" of where humanity has been and where it might be going to on this earth. I have some Esoteric knowledge. but if I could teach anyone just one practical thing it would be how to improve one's health thru diet, meditation, and exercise.
