It's a great way to travel not only because you can save some money but mostly because you can meet new people from the towns were you pass by. Giving the opportunity to know the culture and the city in a way that it wasn't possible by staying in other places.

It's also a great opurtunitie to show the best side of my own town and return the favor.

Climbing the Pico Mountain in Azores and see the sun set and the sun rise from up there.
Hitchhiking all around Europe but especially in the Alpes.
