UPDATE: My European Volunteering adventure has ended and I’m starting to turn my house sustainable and to grow a permaculture-based garden :) I’m strongly motivated to do it and I’m open for anybody that wants to visit our lovely countryside place :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did it once with a friend and the experience was so intimate and interesting that I wanted to do it either again as host and also for other people by hosting them. For cultural sharing, get to know different people or just for have a beer or help someone in a low-budget, you are always welcome tou our old lovely flat :)

Interests

Since I am a child I do many sports, such as football, basketball, badminton, volleyball or ping Pong. I was playing semi-professionally Football before i came to Slovakia. Now i just relax and play many sports, I find it therapeutic and it really keeps my mind fluid when i do it.

Also music plays a vital role in my (and every) life. I like mostly indie, folk, lo-fi, rock, but i listen almost everything. Im also learning to play guitar and combine it with writing poems and songs 🙃

I studied Biology, and Nature was always one of the most interesting topics for me. A Natural sustainable life is important for me and i try to do everything i can to reduce our footprint in this world.

I quit my Master's when I was writing the thesis and then after One year working at Decathlon I hugged the idea of having a Volunteering experience :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music addict so i know many interesting bands. Love when I show some group to someone and he/She turns out to love the suggestion :) My favourite musician is Jason Molina, but as I Said I love anything with good taste: Indie, Folk, Americana, Rap, Lo-fi, Rock, Heavy Metal, just choose :)

Books: unfortunately i didnt grow having much reading habits so its difficult for me to do it, i prefer to listen to a music album, which also tells a story. Though, i love Siddhartha.

Movies: I love minimalist/realism movies such as Linklater's ones like the Before trilogy, Boyhood or the amazing Waking Life. Besides, I love Birdman, Amores Perros, Frequencies, The man from earth or 12 Angry Man. Love Tarantino's movies also, especially Pulp Fiction or even Kill Bill and Sin City, though I dont usually like action movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to Share my music knowledge and to absorb songs from all around the world. I also like to Cook even though i dont have that much experience and mostly i like to Share stories, passions, opinions and emotions :)
