ABOUT ME

It is always difficult to talk about yourself. I could say that I am a easy-going guy, that loves environmental, cultures and arts. It is difficult to find me in a bad day. Music is part of my life, I like all kind of music, from the classic to rock. To be honest my favorite is Samba because I grown up breathing this Brazilian music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurf was a very good discovery for me. In Brazil I had felt the spirit of CS when I traveled a lot staying in people's houses. When I arrived in Europe and realized that we have a social website to share this experiences, I felt as a kid that won a new toy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think the experience of the CS is so much more than just give a place to the person stay. It is about meet people, share experience, spend a time with the other CS. This way you make a friend and share cultures around the world. Only knowing people you understand how they like to live and why. That was my experience in Moscow, Lisbon, Berlin and Stockholm.

Interests

My first interest in the CS is share! I want to share my culture with new friends. I like to meet any kind of people. I think everybody has your own positives sides.

My first interest when I am traveling is discovery the places that the local people goes. I do not like to go to the touristic places. I like to fell integrated in the local environment.

My other interest is related to nature, to be in a beautiful place as a beach, waterfall or natural parks. And also understand how the city/town works is really interesting. Understanding the infrastructure of the city/town. This is related with what I want to work in the future, planning the grow of cities in a efficient way to people and to the technical environment.

Movies: The godfather, Pulp Fiction, Casablanca, Dangerous Method, Mindwalk and La belle Vert.
Music: Samba(Chico Buarque, Paulinho da Viola), Jazz, SKA and Rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped once in a cliff of 19 meters into the water! Was really nice, by the way I love Jump!
I helped in a pre-university course in Brazil, teaching maths to people from the slums.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am teaching in Bangor, UK, a dance called Forró. A brazilian dance really nice. The name of this dance has an interest history because when foreign people arrived in Brazil in 1950s they did know how to call these parties where people danced forró and they said that the parties were for all. Brazilian people who did not speak english, after listened the foreigners saying for all, they started to say it is a Forró(for all) party! ahuahauauhua

I can teach also how to make a Brazilian desert called Brigadeiro! Really Good!

I am open to learn how to cook, dance and any kind of culture habit!
