About Me
MY MISSION
The world can be a better place, if we want to. Let's make it together!
Mutual respect, share and enjoy. Everything is cyclical. Life is about giving and receiving, closing the cycle of energy that runs regardless of time.
ABOUT ME
A Brazilian student currently living in Darmstadt, Germany.
In general, I am quite relaxed, I love to meet new people, hang out, chat, and traveling is one of my favorite hobbies!! (:
I study engineering, so of course I like to talk about technology and innovation, but other topics like philosophy, sociology, and human behavior also captivates me a lot!
Cooking is a form of meditation for me, so I am always interested in learning new recipes and cooking tricks! Mostly local, vegetarian and organic.
PHILOSOPHY
Being open-minded might be one of the biggest achievements to accomplish. We all have our own perspectives, and think the way we think for some reason. Being able to understand that is brilliant.
Show me your thoughts from your point of view, and I will be enriched.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think there is no way of getting a better experience, other than meeting new people and understanding new perspectives, culture and costumes. And Couchsurfing is a great way of achieving that!
Before I couchsurfed and hosted through a group of brazilians all around the world, but now I want to explore more on the Couchsurfing platform!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
pretty much a little bit of everything, show me your favorite ones!
some that come up now: Of Monsters and Men, Andrew Bird, Vance Joy, The Killers, Chet Faker...
and a lot of brazilian bands as well (Natiruts, Criolo, Charlie Brown Jr., Djavan, Caetano Veloso)
I also love trance music, and have been in some nice festivals!
MOVIES
I love documentaries, specially regarding environment, food production, social habits, nature, antropology and cooking! But some random docs are also good every now and then.
Movies that make you think are also really good for me, like Into the Wild, The Intouchables, A Clockwork Orange, etc.
BOOKS
I read most regarding philosofy, health and cooking. Right now I am reading "10% Human - How Your Body's Microbes Hold the Key to Health and Happiness", Alanna Collen, that describes how our body is made of 10% human cells and 90% of other organisms (bacterias, funghi and other microbes), and how that affects us in many ways. We are an ecosystem!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went from Sao Paulo (Brazil) to Santiago (Chile) by car (and back), travelling through Argentina and Paraguay.
I stayed 4 days in a nomad settlement in the Sahara Desert...
Besides, exploring Myanmar was one of the most lovely things I could ever do!
Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook typical food from Brazil, as well as other things, like awesome vegan and vegetarians dishes, cakes, etc!
I am also interested in sharing life experiences, travel tips, or just having some good conversation about some subject that might come up! (:
