Hello! I am Penda Jiwon Lee from South Korea! I have been an exchange student in Groningen, Netherlands since September, and the long journey as a blessed person to see the whole new world is coming to an end. Before leaving this beautiful continent, I really want to meet up as many friends and people as possible to learn, share precious moments with each other. I like to talk, drink (but unfortunately cannot pour even a single can into my mouth :D...) and hang out with many friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only have more or less 50 days of life as an european student, and would like to see the rest of the world through other people's eyes. Why not try out on a couch surfing and make very nice memories of the cities that I would visit? :)

Interests

I used to play in a rock band, but I am also interested in RnB, Jazz, Indie band and pop musics! Interested in arts and artists and their stories as well, although I am currently getting to learn those types of knowledge. The lessons and norms that one could have in mind are also so valuable and precious that it should not stay only in his/her mind!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Adele's truthful lyrics, and the favorite movies vary although I don't go and see movies often. So far I really liked Leon, Perfume, A walk to remember and Three idiots!
Books, as to mention, I tried some crime fictions, but I guess I'm more like a classical novels type of person :) Contemporary novels dealing with the past events and describing the scene thoroughly also make me so into them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I've tried the '90m tower', which is one of the attractions in the theme park! It literally drops you down with a tube of other guests, from the very top of the tower! The free fall was so amazing that I could not even scream a single word.

Travel experiences, my life lesson so far, the short path that I've come along through my whole 21 years, any topics that hosts are interested! mainly cross cultural issues get me interested often.
