About Me
CURRENT MISSION
make this world a bit more sensitive and friendly.
ABOUT ME
An independent guy who is always searching new information, new activities, new countries but that in spite of it he's always besides the person who needs him
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I travel abroad (normally alone for both professional or leisure trips)I use it as a great gateway to contact locals and plunge into their town and social and cultural life. I invite travelers at home but since I left Barcelona and moved to the tiny coastal village of Arenys de Mar I don't have as many requests as I had.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted many people from all the world but most of them through www.HospitalityClub.org. You can see my profile there (perealzina). Since that website is not as active as it was I've moved to this one. Best experiences were in Minsk where I joined the English Speakers Group. I also loved my host in Holland who joined me in my "geesewatching" trip.

Interests
I nearly love everything: cinema, literature, music (from Gregorian up to Chemical Brothers) history, languages, nature, birdwatching, hiking, partying, wines, talks, sightseeing...I think that life is an endless learning process on the way to achieve as much knowledge as possible in order to improve everyone's attitude towards himself, the others and the world in itself. I love enjoying with whatever I do: climbing mountains, dancing in a club, feeling the gypsy music, being touched by Zweig, Tolstoi, Dickens, Pla, Nemirovsky, Roth, Schintzler...everything!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living with birds in Skomer Island (Wales) a lovely island with dramatic cliffs that humans only step it for research
"Geesewatching" in The Netherlands (Groningen and Frisland): that flat green landscape, those windmills, those unforgettable cloudy days and scattered showers...
Making inventories of frogs (zabas!) in Polish Podlaise
The stunning beauty of Ohrid lake and its main Monastery
The dramatic and pleasant fiord of Kotor (Montenegro): natural beauty togeteher with architectural (venetian style)and a good nighlife.
Gibraltar in itself
The divided town of Nicosia
The hidden Belarus, a country that nearly none knows in spite of its gentle beauty
Transnistria, a "de facto" independent country that none knows (neither some experts in politics!)
The catalan influence and background in Malta that none has studied in spite of its evidence in language ("gwardarobba", "mastrudaxxa", "antik", "armirall"...are current catalan words), art and traditions
Kazan, a gem in the heart of the Russian steppe with its outstanding Kremlin and Mosque....and I could watch there a football match! Wow! Rubin Kazan vs Saturn-Moscow.
The football match in the old (currently demolished) Wembley! Everton vs Blackburn...unfortgettable atmosphere!
Spotting wolves and bears in Transylvania (Piatra Craiului, Bucegi Mountains and Transfagaras Mountains)
The pedestrian border (and unknown!!!) border between Sighet (Romania) and Solotvyna (Ukraine) nowadawys two countries, a few years ago all Romanian and before...wow!
Bisons in Bialowieza forest!
My first arrival to a communist country-town (Budapest from Viena) was a shock! I cannot delete it!
New Year's Eve street party in Praha (Prague) on 1990-91 during the Taizé meeting
