I'm an artist living in Fort Wayne Indiana USA. If you would like to see my work find me on Instagram @Peterlupk. I've traveled quite a bit through Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I work full time at a stained glass, mosaic and mural studio that my family owns, my apartment and studio is located above one the buildings in downtown Fort Wayne. I'm a pretty social person and love good conversation, seeing live music, trying new foods and exploring as much of the world as I can.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from all over the world and my own country. I love going to local restaurants and real neighborhoods. I have always liked staying in hostels, this seems like the natural next step. I also really love meeting other travelers and sharing stories and experiences. As a host: I would love to show people from other areas what Fort Wayne has to offer, and I would love to stay with other people who think the same. I know Fort Wayne really well and can direct someone (or go with them) to most any type of restaurant, bar etc. I am particularly interested in hosting people from outside the USA, especially Italy as I have been studying this language for a little while and have spent a lot of time Italy. I am available for anyone staying at my apartment though! particularly if you are interested in art, music, food, literature or are a dedicated traveler! If you need a ride from the airport I can probably pick you up!
Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of singer song writers, Damien Jurado, Korey Dane. I don't actually watch a lot of movies. I read quite a bit, I love Jack Kerouac of course but my favorite author is Joseph Conrad.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Rented a motorcycle with almost no experience, drove up into the mountains of Thailand to meet with the tribes and sketch.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sketching the people and places I travel to and meet. If this sounds cool to you I'd love to do it with new people! you don't need to be a professional, trained etc. just enthusiastic. I am also I pretty good cook, and like making food with other people.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I would love to do a sketch of the people I stay with and let them keep it, I've always really enjoyed doing this with the friends I meet in hostels and would love to continue on the tradition with Couchsurfers. I'm also a good cook and have often made food for friends when I visit them in their home countries.
