About Me

The short one:
I'm Peter, from Valencia (Spain) and I'm 31. I love to travel and meet people.
I'm living with my wife Gaby and my little daughter Emma in a nice house in Tumbaco Valley, 20 km away from Quito (Ecuador). It's usually busy (we have many friends taking advantage of our nice garden) but maybe we can find some space for you! ;)

The long one:
My parents called me Pedro but somebody changed to Peter, so now just my mother calls me Pedro.
Although I was born in Valencia, I lived my first 14 years in Barcelona. Then I went back and spent a few funny years.
I lived a year in London when I was 18 and, again back in Valencia, a few years with some friends in a crazy and amazing flat.
When I was 21, I traveled through South America. That trip changed my life. I met amazing people and also knew the inequalities of this world. That's why I studied social education and since then I have spent my time working with all kinds of people who, because of the unjust and classist world we're living in, have not had the opportunities they deserve.
I also love culture, and I think it's a really good way to change the world so, with some friends, we set up a small cultural organization called Ameba. We offered to our lovely neighborhood, Benimaclet, a space to enjoy artistic and cultural performances of city local artists (music, poetry, theater, circus, cinema...)
In 2012 I travelled a few months around Mexico, my favorite country in the world, and I met Gaby. After some other trips with her I decided to move to her city, Quito (Ecuador). I lived three wonderful years there.
After that, we both decided to sell all that we have and follow our dream: travel around the world. We travelled for 10 months from Quito (Ecuador) to Istambul (Turkey) and when we where almost flighting to Africa, a call stopped us and send us to Rio de Janeiro, where we spent a couple of amazing years and enjoyed the birth of our daughter Emma!
Now we’re leaving in an awesome house in Tumbaco, a little village close to Quito.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel from Ecuador to Turkey is probably one of the most amazing things I’ve done!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing knowledge and Creative Commons philosophy so I love to learn and I guess I can teach something too.
I do a little of everything (in my place we use to say "aprendiz de todo, maestro de nada"). For example, I love to cook so maybe we can cook something together and learn new recipes. I play some flamenco guitar so maybe I can teach you some chords, make some music together and learn something you know. We do handicrafts for finance our trip, if you are interested... Also try to learn things from the places where I travel and live so we can share knowledge and enrich each other.
