Hello,
my name is Péter Nagy, but my friends just call me Peti. I live in Hungary, but right now i am doing a PhD at Loughborough in England till (hopefully) 2024.
I love travelling, for me all this lifestyle startred when I did an EVS in Estonia between 2017- 2018. This wonderful country became my second home.

Although I do not have much couchsurfing experience I really enjoy to meet new people and listen to their stories, how they see life and how they live (and meet their pets).

I studied chemical engineering in Hungary and I graduated in 2020. I really like science and engineering but chemistry alone is not enough to statisfy my life. I can find beauty in the theory of atoms, in the feelings of a fast punk song, in the words of a poem. But all this things dwarfed by the greatness of nature.

I love travelling but I dont like sitting in a hotel and go out to the beach. I think this is a better way to get to know the place where you go and its a very good opportunitiy for more adventure!

My favorite music styles are pop punk and Hungarian folk music, but I am really opened to almost everything. (But I need to admit that I do not really like electronic music). I know good places to familiarize with hungarian folkmusic and folkdance in Budapest. And I know many nice places just to hang out as well.

I am not a very big movie fan but I watched the LOTR movies several times and I used to be a very big fan of Harry Potter. I really enjoy those movies which shows the beauty of life like "intouchables", Into the wild, Secret life of Walted Mithy or "about time". My favourite cartoon is Avatar the legend of Aang, I could watch it all day!

I love reading. I really like classical literature likeTolstoy or modern novels from Robert Merle or Remarque, but I also like "easy" physic books like "Brief history of time "or "The God particle".

I made my dream come true and I have seen the Northern light alone in minus -25 degree on the middle of a frozen lake in the middle of Lapland.

My company I can share my stories from my few journeis but my strength is that I am a very good listener :D
Well I am notsuch a good cooker but I can make omlette or some Hungarian food.
I am keen on helping in everything!
