About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To protect the world from devastation, to unite all people within our nation, to denounce the evils of truth and love, to extend my reach to the stars above! *Sounds familiar, hmmm*

ABOUT ME

Laid-back, creative, caring personality

PHILOSOPHY

I mostly live by the live and let live principle. I strongly believe that if you're nice and respectful people will treat you the same way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, hosting as I'm not travelling at the moment :)

Right now I'm kinda busy wrapping up in uni, so for now couch is only available for emergencies :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a great time hosting and made some lasting friendships with my guests :) I've couchsurfed in the beautiful region of Bretagne where I had some really amazing experiences with my hosts!

Interests

I love reading, drawing, cycling or going for walks. I also play the harp and enjoy sewing, mostly fantasy costumes and corsets. I love learning foreign languages and getting to know other countries and cultures!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh boy.... ehm, when it comes to music my taste is somewhat... odd. I love metal, symphonic rock, folk, classical, jazz, ambient, singer-songwriter or whatever suits my mood. I'm more than happy to learn about new artists!

I read pretty much anything with letters, but I especially love historic novels, detectives, fantasy and English literature.

Some of my favourite movies are LotR, PotC, anything horror, lots of comedy, and again anything historic!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a CS guest who became my amazing roommate for 3 months which was great!

Also, my trip to Iceland! I've never seen so many natural wonders in one place. Swimming in the Blue Lagoon in the cold evening was fantastic, like a dream!

Other than that, I'm not as adventurous as I'd like to be. I think one of the most amazing things I've ever done is raising items and Christmas presents for charity, because it was great to see how much people are willing to give!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you if you want to learn Dutch (why would you want to do that though??) or basic English. Also basic sewing skills I suppose :)

I'm still hoping to improve my French and German, so if you can help me with that, you're awesome.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good veggie meals, good stories and good times!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Turkey
