About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love the people around me and pay it forward. Everyone has a story and some just need someone to listen to them.

ABOUT ME

Leukemia and bone marrow transplant survivor, at least that is the plan anyway. I feel the need to pay it forward. I love meeting new people and a considerate house guest (yeah, I do dishes and wipe out the sink in the bathroom). I think you need to get out of the hotels and be with the area locals to really get to know a new location.

PHILOSOPHY

"If this is the worst thing that happens to me today, I am doing well." I also think that best way to learn about a culture is to learn to prepare its food and listen to their music.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people sorely one these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot acquired vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."
- Mark Twain
