I'm 33, from London, UK, and have given up work to go and travel around the world for a year (ish)!

Its been a long term dreams to get out and see the wider world and I’m travelling far and wide, from Russia to Mongolia, Cambodia to Indonesia, Kenya to South Africa. (Update: I’m now a few months in!)

I’m an easy going kind of person and try to live on the positive side of life. My interests and passions are a right mixed bag from food and music to international politics and dance. I’m also as at home meeting new people on a sofa having a chat as I am independently exploring a new part of the world...

I guess I just love a good adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, from the latest underground dance music to acoustic folk to classic motown, funk and soul and pretty much all else in between. I especially love live music - in tiny venues, clubs, arenas, festivals - anywhere you get to feel it and (if the mood takes you) dance. When it comes to passions/hobbies, music is right up there for me.

Books I like are usually about the world and how it works/why it works the way it does. From politics to psychology to philosophy to history. I really enjoy trying to figure out how and why we, people and countries behave the way we do and how we could make things better.

Movies I am pretty useless at watching, though I love it when I do! My tastes span all sorts really - from cheesy action and comedy through to serious drama...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent new year’s eve on a deserted island in the Philippines... Truly one of the most magical and unreal New Years I have had.
