Über mich
Hello everyone!
My name is Phittayaphorn but you can call me Orm shortly. I come from Khon Kaen, Thailand and am living at the moment in Langwedel (im Landkreis Verden), Germany as a federal volunteer (Bundesfreiwillige) at Stiftung Waldheim, Cluvenhagen in the field of people with mental disability. I came to Germany for the first time in 2008 as an exchange student und later joined an Au-Pair in August 2015. In Thailand, I have graduated from Chiang Mai University with B.A. in German studies and would in the near future further study in order to become an official German teacher and lecturer. I love travelling to new places, learning foreign languages and meeting new people from different backgrounds. In my free time, I love reading interesting and good books, listening to good music with good meaning that cherish my soul and mind. Also, I like to cook and when I have a lot of free time, I love to travel. In Germany, I travel often to the state of Saxony and Bavaria.
See you soon my dear friends around the world!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
After returning From a short trip in Roses Island in Lake Starnberg, my host Au-Pair-mother has told me that the ticket seller was actually one of her good friends and he was a couchsurfer providing travellers a place to stay and that he very much enjoyed meeting wonderful people from other countries.
Since then, I have not tried Couchsurfing but would love to join as I start to travel a lot to bed places and I find it wonderful to have local people to guide and share useful information about their cities.
Also, I would love to share my opinions, knowledge and useful information I have about my own place for the hosts. Who knows? Maybe our meeting can draw their attraction to travelling to my home country and town in the near future!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
One amazing thing I have done and still continue doing it is volunteering at Stiftung Waldheim in Cluvenhagen, where I have learnt unconditional and meaningful love from mental disabled residents.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
As my profession is in the field of language teaching, I can teach you Thai language if you are into learning it.
For sharing, I would love to share my cooking with you! I just love to cook for people as it reminds me of my daily routine that I have to cook for my own family in Thailand. Furthermore, I can share with you my opinions about things and knowledge that I have. ^^
I would love to learn your language! I just love learning foreign languages as it is the key to understand the mindset of different nations. At the moment, I'm living in Germany and would love to do a master degree in German as a Foreign Language. So, learning German is still my first priority. But in the future, I probably would like to learn Chinese and Finnish. :)
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
What I can share with hosts is a cultural cooking :) Thai food is one of the most well-known and delicious cuisine and I would love to cook it for my hosts in order to thank them for hosting me during a wonderful travel in their hometown or city. :) And if they are into learning my language, I am more willing to help them! Thank you :)
