Overview
About Me
Well... let's say I try to keep aware of life and its movement, to flee routine and certitudes. My path hasn't been straight till now, I'm sure I'll be surprised again if I preserve my appetite and curiosity.
An old man told me lately : "Quelle joie de vivre !" He could not address me a warmest compliment ; and indeed, I think I cultivate this state of mind as a response to life hardnesses. Shine forth !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people from the country or city I'm visiting has always been my favourite way of travelling. I've driven once through Italy for three weeks, following the usual cultural path, from museums to ruins and places-to-be, and I ended up feeling miserable and lonely : nevermore !
I know now that museums and such will soon leave me depressed. I much prefer hanging out with locals, who will give me an insight of their city, of their lives and personalities : then I will feel travelling has a point.
Interests
I dwell in the living arts, so you'll delight me if you take me to any cultural event. But then we'll have to go out and party, for what matters the most to me is life and people.
Back home, I'm harassed with work ; so let's take time to experience a different way of living when I'm abroad, in which I can just chat and walk and dwell in the streets and drink and dance carelessly !

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not much of a reader, I'm way too energetic to stand still before a book for hours in a row.
I need action ! I'll be the first to dance wild if you bring me to a concert I like or a nightclub with good music. My lastest crush : Jeanne Added "Be Sensational", Christine and the Queens "Chaleur Humaine" ; I used to be Björk greatest fan... now I'm more into Stromae !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That will be several, actually :
- Spend New Year's Eve in a tropical forest of Madagascar surrounded by lemurs ;
- To be shown around Bologna by a hitchiker, whom I picked up in Beaune, France, and who hosted me in his hometown for several days ;
- Scuba-diving, swimming with whales and dolphins, watching a sea-turtle lay its eggs in the sand... back in Mayotte.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the cry of the lemur. Very useful when you have a frog in your throat (Gee ! in French, we say we have a cat in one's throat. Weird.)
I can learn much from you i'm sure, and vice versa, you might learn a few things from me. I'm convinced we all are singular and thus fascinating.
I can share a good meal with you that I'll have prepared. I'm a real little housewife by some aspects, I surely can cook and enjoy to do so !
What I Can Share with Hosts
Right now, my couch is too old and damaged to support any kind of couchsurfer, even the lightest. But that's till I've saved enough money to by a brand new one !
