ABOUT ME

I am editing my profile since certain life events have transformed the environment I live in and I have not edited my changing realities since five years ago - I am now a single father of two daughters - my only two children on this planet earth - both females - Cecilia ( 6 years ) and Lucresia (4 years ) - my name is Gonzalo Rosado - 52 years of age now with a young heart and mind - and I used to live with my wife Glenda of 27 years - a great woman who took great care of my daughters and me but life events happened. She desired another man who passed by my home - a small time biker from El Salvador and she followed him to that place leaving my daughters at home with me. It was an ever lasting life experience for my daughters and I but we have survived and thriving now. The ex- wife now has returned from her failed attempt at a new life and to live her disastrous mistake of life but she has not had any living contact with us up to today October 16th 2018. We live about 10 minutes from San Ignacio in a welcoming village called San Jose Succotz. Take a bus from San Ignacio or a taxi to reach my village and stop by the Xunantunich ferry entrance (it is on the google map) and ask for Gonzalo Rosado and you shall be directed to my house, the bus conductor or taxi driver may know my home also. There is a bus stop infront of my house that I built called Marleny's Bus Stop - the second name of my wife and two daughters . From our home you can have access to Guatemala - Peten - Tikal area and you are close to Belmopan and San Ignacio in Belize. Bikers and Cyclists are more than welcome along with all back packers and passionate couch surfers! If you ride motorcycles that is my passion today - I have a collection to choose from as well as bicycles - if I am not busy we spend time together - if busy you enjoy yourself still because there is a lot to see and do around! We have kitchens, bathrooms , open spaces , decks , etc Once I answer you whatsapping is the best! Waiting for you my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish to continue meeting people of our small world with a universality mentality of care, love, human happiness and enriching our universe with the best of human experience.
I offer space for camping close to the Mopan River and the Western Highway at a most secure and safe place. I offer a small room with a small bed for a single person or lean couple and why not the couch or mattresses in my VIP living room. Decks are open for you to set up your tent also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

never - I wish to begin - I have traveled in central america and mexico as a back packer - but after meeting Oliver Hazel a german friend and Kaya marini a beautiful female french friend at our Belize Border station of Punta Gorda with their sharing of surfing experience I Believe it is something to do to better the world and humanity.

We have been pleased to have hosted happy friends - as we say " feel at home away from home" . We advice our friends to come with more than one day at their disposal to enjoy our village, the Xunantunich Mayan Site , Benque Viejo and San Ignacio. If coming for just an overnight to sleep and catch a bus to continue travelling it is also a great experience for us. We welcome cyclists travelling the world and also motorcycle riders travelling the world and needing a place to refresh. I have bycicles and motorcycles also and would enjoy their great company.
