HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had amazing experiences couchsurfing - I love how intimately i can experience a new place when I have a host who is excited to share their favorite things about their home with me.

And I love being that host for others, especially with all the hosting I did in Minneapolis.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing for a number of years both formally and informally, hosting and being hosted by amazing folks from around the world.

Reading, camping, writing, queer culture, vegan cooking/baking, sewing, DIY projects, backpacking, reexamining social constructs, yoga, anything outside, explaining to people what all the letters in LGBTQIAS stand for, people watching, not understanding cultural references, vagabonding, getting to know people who challenge and inspire me, kayaking, living out of my WVO car Charlene, energy work (reiki and shamanism), breaking stereotypes, dismantling rape culture, dancing, undoing social conditioning that no longer serves me, rubbing Ducky's (the potbellied pig i lived with) belly and hearing his happy old man noises, laughing, walking barefoot, watching thunderstorms, playing cards, learning about feminist theory, hearing about people's passions, living an environmentally friendly lifestyle, biking, lots more......
