I was born in the year of the catastrophic nuclear accident in Tjernobyl - 1986. I grew up in a small town together with my sister Charlotte and brother Louis-Philippe. Played the basketball, piano and drums. Moved to Antwerp to study on the Antwerp Maritime Academy. Became president of Argonaut. After I graduated I started working as an Apprentice Officer with Jan De Nul. Became 2nd Officer. Got a cat Minouche. Got married with my wife Leen. Got a baby Arthur. Became Chief Officer. Stopped sailing and started working at the office of the same company. Got another baby Gaston. Bought a house. Raised 4 chickens. Growing tomatoes and a variety of vegetables.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have worked 5 years at sea on a trailing suction hopper dredger as an Officer. Sailed through piracy area's in the Indian Ocean. Got attacked by angry fisherman with dynamite in Vietnam. Crossed the Pacific, Indian Ocean, Suez Canal, British Channel.
