CURRENT MISSION Meeting new people, sharing our little part of the world. ABOUT ME My husband and I live in a small friendly community. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and have hosted lots of exchange students. I enjoy learning about different cultures. I spend my "spare" time working in my garden, cooking and baking. I enjoy music and play the guitar and sing.I am carefree and open minded and look at the positive side of things. PHILOSOPHY I believe that the world can be made a better place by opening our minds, hearts and homes to others in the world...I have gained many great friends through the exchange program I was involved in and feel that more people could benefit from sharing their little world with others.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I learned about this project just recently. I hope to host and in the future do some surfing myself. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE A young couple came in to my food bank and as we visited they told me about the program and I ended up taking them home for a few days and showing them around out community.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all areas of music, don't have much time to read novels, but do like to read. I like comic movies and those about real life experiences.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I sang for President Jimmy Carter and his wife.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to show others what the world of volunteer work is about in my food bank. I also would like to show people the area I live in and take them camping. I would like to share my musical talents and learn from others.
My Interests
