Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have enjoyed being members of CS. Have surfed a few couches, but have had quite a few people surf at our place. We're surprised at how many want to come here. We've met a LOT of really nice & interesting people. We don't mind helping others as they travel. We know we're a bit out of the way, but you never know who might need a place on their way from here to there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Seattle, Wa; Lima, Peru; Cusco, Peru; Durango,CO; Grand Junction, CO. All great experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like lots of different kinds of music, but the music you can sing to is the best. Jim has a good singing voice. Jim is partial to western movies, I go for comedy most of the time. We enjoy a good story now and then, but books you can learn from and true life stories catch our interest most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jim lived 2 years in the Andes mountains with the Aymara Indians. Some of the things we do seem like everyday stuff to us, but may seem amazing to others.
I have traveled some and really enjoy the amazing things I've seen and done. What a great world we live in!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share experience in most things outdoor. Our home setting requires very independent living. For those not familiar with life in the great American West, we can share a little slice in real life of what you may have only seen in the western movies.
