About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make people laugh and have a dinosaur named after me.

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly bear. I love to travel, eat, learn languages and party.

I like to have interesting and funny conversations about dinosaurs, or any interesting animal (koala, gecko, turtle...).

Some of my loves; Dinosaurs, Food, Comedy, Languages, Writing, Music, Science, Magic Tricks, Vodka, Creativity, Nature, Dancing, Random Facts, Random People, Random Experiences.

Basically I'm really random, except for when I'm being serious.

I like to think that I'm intelligent and I think stupidity should be a crime punishable by death, and then I say something stupid and my opinion changes.

I'll probably try really hard to make you laugh, and if you make me laugh I'll think you are awesome.

PHILOSOPHY

Follow your dreams. And trust the Stegosaurus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sometimes I meet people. Sometimes I do things. Occasionally I combine the two and practice that lost ancient art form of DOING THINGS WITH PEOPLE. In real life. Without checking my phone every 30 seconds. I know, I'm weird.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since joining CS I helped organise meetings when I was living in Batam, and given informal English lessons to all Batam's CSers. Also done paintballing, go-karting, barbeques, karaoke and many other things.

I have hosted 2 surfers in Batam, John and Torrey. Both of them were from America, and both times it was a really good experience.

I have now moved back to the UK, and while I can't host at the moment, I'm still willing to do stuff.

Outside of CS I have crashed on a number of people's sofas and had a number of people crash on mine.

Interests

Reading, writing (Be nice and I'll show you something I've written. Be really nice and I'll write something for you), learning languages. Sports - any of them! Cooking (and eating). Travelling and meeting people. Dancing (in my own unique way). Funny things and funny people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sooo many books.. my favourite authors are Ben Okri and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but I read anything as long as it is well written.

Music - very varied. Different kinds of music for different kinds of mood.

Movies - everything from action and horror to drama and comedy. If it's a good film I'll watch it.

I like such a wide range of books, music and movies it's really too hard to make a list. Just ask me if you want to know if I like something in particular.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a fight between a Stegosaurus and a T-Rex... wait, that might have been a movie.

Teach, Learn, Share

My job was teaching English, but I can teach you so much more (warning: although what I teach you may be interesting, most of it will probably never be useful). I am a goldmine of useless factoids and tricks to make things you won't ever do easier to do.

Countries I’ve Visited
