I'm an introvert and I can be pretty shy, but I'm learning to open up more.

In my country, it is mandatory for all males who are physically fit to do National Service for 2 years. In that time, I was drafted into the Civil Defence Force. During this time, I was posted as an admin/clerk after my training. I went through quite a bit during this period especially under a rather unreasonable officer. However, the experience only made me a stronger person and got me ready for the working world.

I do not have a religion, but I still respect each and every religion. I'm Chinese, but English is still my first language. I'm not good at my second language at all. I love dogs, but I would admit that I can get pretty intimidated by bigger dogs if they bark at me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to make new friends around the world whilst reducing the cost of my travels :P

To be perfectly frank, I'll probably only CS when i'm on my solo trips. I feel that this is a good platform to make friends and not be left feeling alone and lonely whilst travelling.

Trust me, I have got that feeling before when a friend invited me over to his country only to leave me on my own for 90% of my stay.
