About Me

I am flexible, spontaneous, and open at heart! I value learning-unlearning-relearning in life. I admire looking at things from new perspectives and enjoy contributing towards making life experiences better for myself and others. I enjoy all kinds of sports, adventure activities, different art forms enabling creative expressions, and like to bond with people with similar interests! I resonate well with people who are authentic, aspirational, creative, non-conformists, and change makers. I look forward to connecting with genuine people with diverse life journeys and sharing our life experiences. I love life and celebrate its diversity expressed in different life forms. Leafless trees, flowering willows, opening buds, shy ladybugs, tiny sparrows, mighty hawks... all life forms amuses me. I find solace in watching the setting and rising sun, luring at the moon and the stars, listening to the music of a flowing river, drenching in a waterfall, playing with the waves, and having heart to heart conversations on everything under the sun with people I feel connected with. I am a student of yoga and value solitude, and trade it off only out of my conscious choices. I love to spend my me-time doing meditation, yoga, reading, introspecting, writing, sharing, connecting with nature, traveling, and discovering more about myself, looking into all the mirrors of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am curious towards life in general. Looking at life through diverse perspectives intrigues me. Traveling and experiencing new environments and cultures, meeting new people, helps me to get over my stigmas, fears, and ignorance. Coming across people who are in the persuits of discovering and integrating their inner worlds by navigating the journeys of their outer world inspires me. Connecting with people who are lifelong learners in the school of life feels important to me. Meeting people who are not afraid to step outside of their comfort zones and are constantly streaching their mental horizons motivates me in life.

Experiencing life and creating new life experiences is beautiful. Learning new skills, engaging in open expression, forming creative collaborations, and contributing to the lives of others is joyful. Being able to share it with the hearts that resonate close to your own frequency is precious. Connecting with such hearts is a matter of grace. My presence at CS is opening myself to this grace.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm in love with the music of Ganavya these days! Lyrics have been the most important part of the songs for me! At times, I am opening myself to the other aspects... Would appreciate more knowledge and good recommendations!

Visionaries whose words have found a way to my heart are Khalil Giblan, Richard Bach, Paulo Coelho, Mitch Albom, Robin Sharma, Swami Vivekanand, Sri Aurobindo & the Mother. Do share with me any book that brought a shift in your life!

Somehow, I have been away from the world of movies lately. Appreciate good recommendations!
Some of my favorites are: Interstellar, Source Code, Inception, Avatar, Braveheart, August Rush, X-men, Animation movies...
