About Me
Hello world!!
I'm Prakash. A foodie, traveler, simple and happy-go-lucky guy. I love to be surrounded by good books, good friends and happy people in general! I was born and raised near Kolkata, attended university in Mumbai and now been living in Japan for more than 9 years. I work as a researcher in wireless communications in Japan. We can talk more about work and technology when we meet.
I'm someone full of life, and I thrive in an atmosphere of kindness and sincerity.
Usually drawing sketches, or singing or cooking my favorite dish when I am not at work. I love sports, reading, traveling and photography too :)
I like to meet new friends and see the world through their lenses. I am always impressed by cheerful and good natured people who help others unconditionally. I speak 4 languages, including English and Japanese.
MY GOAL: To read, read and read more! So much left to read!!
Love to smile and make people around me smile!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To find new friends and learn about the place I'm traveling to, from the locals. To me, friendship is the most simple, yet strongest bond that two human beings can share. Please introduce me to your world!
Couchsurfing has given me some of my coolest friends, else I couldn't have found these supercool souls at different corners of this planet!
Interests
Here it goes again....
Drawing sketches, singing, reading, playing outdoor sports, cooking, traveling, photography, going for long walks, going for a long ride on my bike (although I don't have my bike with me here)....not necessarily in the same order! And I am also into health and fitness, so I am a regular at the gym.

Let me put a few that comes to my mind now..
I love listening to "I walk a lonely road.." by GreenDays when am traveling...

A recently read book is "Throne of glass" by Sarah Maas
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've a Guinness Book World Record that we did as a team on solving Rubik's Cube back in my university days! I was also one of the conveners and organizer of the event! It still thrills me!!!
I had a rock band in my university days where I performed as the lead vocalist! Singing on stage in front of a full house crowd was indeed amazing!!
Been interviewed and appeared on Japan's most selling business newspaper.
