About Me
I design curriculum for school education, and am a Science teacher at heart.
Love to swim, ride my bicycle, play frisbee and hangout on the beach!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People have always been amazing to me during my travels. It’s when I travel that I realise that, contrary to what one may come across often, there are a lot of good people in the world. I’d like others to have a similar experience both about people who visit their geographies and about the people whose geographies they visit.
Prospective guests, I’d like to tell you this:
1. Please keep stuff organised.
I like my home to be clean, organised and inviting. While I don’t seek support with chores, I’ll appreciate if you just take care of your belongings, keep them organised and not littered all over, and tidy up spaces up after you’ve used them.
2. Please be clean.
I like cleanliness and I will cringe if you hop into the bed without taking a shower before, or keep your rucksack on the couch, or a wet towel on the bed. I will also cringe if the restroom is exited having been left dirty or wet. I’ll appreciate if we respect cleanliness.
3. Connect on this app.
If you'd like to connect as a Couchsurfer - to stay over, or ask for recommendations or help, or generally hangout - please text me here on the app, and not on other platforms, such as WhatsApp. You may know someone I’ve hosted or been hosted by earlier, and they may have shared my contact with you (which is fine), but I’ll still appreciate if we respect the platform and connect here. In the same breath, send me a text (and not a friend request) to begin with :)
4. Give me some insight into you!
Finally, I like to host because I like to meet people from different walks of life and cultures. I’d appreciate if you - either in your message or on your profile - tell about some things that maybe excite you or bug you! It’ll help me draw a caricature of you before we meet. :)

Music: Gotan Project is nice. Anything goes, really.
Movies: Colette was quite nice. Not a massive fan of movies, generally.
Books: Murakami, Harari, Romila Thapar, Orhan Pamuk, Rohinton Mistry to name some that top the list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I trained dogs-gone-bad to earn money on the side during my undergrads!

Learn: Pottery
Share: Meals, Experiences and Aperitifs!
What I Can Share with Hosts
1. I can cook alright - so I can hit up a meal for everyone.
2. I over organise - which one could channelise to structure a bookshelf or ‘minimalize’ a closet!
