**I ONLY ACCEPT ARTISTS, ACTIVISTS, AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS** Hi :) I’ve been living in Christhurch NZ for 4 years and run a warehouse arts space called Exchange (XCHC). It’s a cafe/bar/art space/venue/loft apartments designed to bring people together, exchange ideas, and be more creative. I live in 1 of the 2 apartments that are a part of the warehouse and can host in any of the 4 rooms. Human connection is (hopefully) why you and I are on CS, and we’re a place where creatives can meet and work together. We generally attract people/events who care about sustainability, creativity, community, and food almost every night. It’s a casual place so many just come hangout. I started this chapter of my life in 2014 when I was in the Caribbean and decided it was time to experience and learn from other cultures and get out of my little southern USA bubble. Now my part in the world is helping others find and pursue the things their passionate about. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm a lifelong learner. I try almost everything once. Also, I try to just to do some good in the world by being a happy, fun, laughable, giving energy :) I spent some time in the Dominican Republic and came to a sudden realization that I didn't need "stuff" to be happy/enjoy the most important things in life. Everything I owned meant little and distracted me from the real world; the truly beautiful things, friendships and relationships... So, I sold everything, bought a backpack and left America. Now happily in New Zealand

Saved someone's life rafting. Cave diving in the Dominican Republic Sky diving in New Zealand Eating my way through Italy Have worked in construction, with/rescuing horses, landscaping, gymnastics coach, marketing, photography, helping local businesses/artists, bartending, arts administration, events coordinator, annnnd, WINE 🍷
Teach, Learn, Share
Have learned some cool life and social tools. I encourage people to be active, challenge their perspective, help people achieve something they never thought was possible. Would love to learn how to sail and live at sea for a long period of time. Would love to learn to Pilot so i can show people the world.
